Yesterday The Christian O’Connell Show spoke about what makes the best toastie. They’re live on air for three hours and I reckon toasties took up two of them
They expressed that the teams favourite toastie is from Your Neighbour in Richmond on bridge road. Both the Ham & Cheese or the same with tomato for some ‘flare’ is the BASICS DONE RIGHT. Nothing fancy going on here, but everything is done exactly how it should be. Another favourite for something a bit fancier was Maker & Monger in Prahran market.
Patsy brought to the table the heated debate of “Where does the butter go?”. Is butter a must on the outside? Does it belong on the inside? Or do you lightly hinder your bodies future by having butter inside and out….
They had so many more questions that needed answering! Do you use a pan? A George foreman? Under the grill? Butter or margarine? Wholemeal or white bread? And most importantly…Where is the best place? There are just way too many questions for them to answer on their own…so they took to socials
The listeners heard this….and they delivered. There was a clear favourite…
