After rumours were swirling, Channel 10 has confirmed that Robert Irwin will co-host the 2024 season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! alongside Julia Morris.

The 19-year-old wildlife warrior and son of late Aussie legend Steve Irwin will replace Dr Chris Brown’s role on the show for it’s milestone 10th season.

“It’s a huge honour to be the new co-host of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! I can’t wait to plunge back into the incredible African jungle and introduce our celebrities to the magnificent wildlife that call the jungle home.” he said.

“Most of all, I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongside the incredibly kind and talented Julia Morris. Crikey! This is going to be a wild ride!”

It was announced back in February that Dr Chris Brown wouldn’t be returning to co-host the show in 2024, making the move to join Network 10’s rival network Channel 7.

Julia also expressed how excited she was to have Robert join her to host the show, even noting that they were an ‘unlikely duo’.

“Audiences will be peaking at how much fun we have in store,” she said. “You might think Robert and I are an unlikely duo, but it turns out we’re a magical combination! Season 10, here we come!”
