It’s the day everyone has been dreading.

Costco is home to around 600 stores in the US and an additional 150 stores globally, with 15 being in Australia.

We all know and love the Costco food court that has welcome everyone, member or not, with open arms to get our pizza fix. But that’s coming to an end.

From April 8, 2024 Costco has begun cracking down on non-members using the food court. It all started in the US and now Aussies are shaking in their boots.

The rule was really in play from 2020 however most stores turned a blind eye to the situation.

So if you want a $1.50 hot dog, you may have to pay for the membership starting from $65 per year.
