She may only be 22, but Olivia Rodrigo is already proving she’s a next-level boss. According to her guitarist, the pop star made sure her entire GUTS tour crew had access to free mental health support.

Guitarist Daisy Spencer shared that Rodrigo provided therapy for the whole team throughout the GUTS world tour, which kicked off in February 2024 and wrapped up in Manchester earlier this month.

Spencer made the comments during an episode of The StageLeft Podcast with host Chris Simpson.

“On the world tour, Olivia and our tour manager, Marty Hom, made accessible and free therapy for all of the touring personnel,” Spencer said.

“I have never had anything like that,” she added. “And that reignited the importance of therapy to me because I had kind of fallen off for so long.”

On the podcast, Spencer also called Rodrigo “the dreamiest boss of all time” and spoke about the impact of looking after her mental and physical wellbeing on tour.

“Suddenly I had this free resource of incredible therapists and I utilized the crap out of that,” she said. “I was going, you know, once a week, once every other week, whenever I could. And it was even during the off time – we also still had access to this resource.”
