Ariana Grande is once again urging the public not to comment on women’s bodies as the ‘Wicked: For Good’ press tour wraps and the attention remains not on the project itself, but on her body.

“I think in today’s society there’s a comfortability that we shouldn’t have, at all, commenting on others’ looks, appearance.”

Sharing a clip from last year’s Wicked tour, she wrote on Instagram: “Resharing this from last year as a loving reminder to all.”

In the interview with French journalist Sally for Oui Oui Baguette, Grande was asked about negative comments on their body. She spoke about growing up under public scrutiny: “I’ve been kind of doing this in front of the public, and kind of been a specimen in a petri-dish since I was 16 or 17.
“I’ve heard it all. I’ve heard every version of it — what’s wrong with me, and then you fix it, and then it’s wrong for different reasons.” She said it is “hard to protect yourself from that noise.”

“I think in today’s society there’s a comfortability that we shouldn’t have, at all, commenting on others’ looks, appearance… what they think is going on ‘behind the scenes’ or health or how they present themselves,” she said.

“I think it’s dangerous, for both parties involved.” Grande added that such commentary is no longer invited: “It’s not welcome. I have work to do, I have a life to live, I have friends to love on, I have so much love, and it’s not invited, so I don’t leave space for it anymore.”

Her co-star Cynthia Erivo has also faced scrutiny throughout the press tour. While fans often frame comments as “genuine concern,” Grande’s message is clear: someone else’s body is never yours to judge.
