The AFLW Richmond player Lauren Tesoriero into isolation after learning she lived with someone who has just returned from Japan.

Whilst the midfielder or her housemate is not displaying symptoms, the AFL and club medical staff chose to take an ‘ultra-cautious approach’.

Tesoriero was sent home from the club on Wednesday night despite having no contact with her housemate.

Tesoriero will not play this weekend against St Kilda for Round 6.

West Coast players Mckenzie Dowrick and Emily Bonser were listed as ill when teams were released this week, however it was not coronavirus related.
