It was a dark day on the roads yesterday.

A man and a woman in their 70s died after an SUV and Holden sedan crashed in Bulla near Melbourne airport at 3:20 pm on Thursday.

The other driver was taken to hospital with injuries.

Earlier in the day a cyclist collided with a car in Norlane, Geelong and died at the scene.
