Three men have been charged with murder after a man was beaten to death in St Albans.
The 24-year-old man was found with critical injuries on Fox Street at around 6pm on Thursday night. Paramedics worked on the Werribee man but he could not be saved.
Two 22-year-olds and a 20-year-old, all from St Albans, were arrested a short time later.
The assault was witnessed by horrified families who were leaving St Paul’s Keabla Catholic School. The school is currently closed.
Police have established the attack is linked to an earlier alleged road rage, assault and theft incident which occurred hours before in Walters Street, St Albans.
