Three very lucky Melbourne suburbs are getting a Kaufland!
The German supermarket giant has been called a ‘Costco-killer’ for its notoriously low prices.
Dandenong, Chirnside Park and Epping will all get a store as part of a $459 million investment by the company as well as a “massive distribution centre”
It’s expected to bring in 1500 jobs and have all received approval from the Victorian Government.
Kaufland plans to use local suppliers to stock Victorian products and is also targeting Oakleigh South, Coolaroo, and Mornington for future locations.
The distribution centre is expected to start in the middle of the year, but it’s not known yet when the stores will open their doors.
