Experiencing life with roommates it’s a right of passage for many, and the Royal Family is no exception!
Following the passing of Prince Philip in April, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are allegedly “seriously considering” a move to Windsor.
It is reported the royal couple William and Kate have been looking for accommodation options to support their three children – Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and three-year-old Prince Louis.
The reason for the move is currently being speculated, although it may indicate that Kate and William are taking on more senior roles within the royal family.
At the moment, the Cambridge family share their residence between Kensington Palace, where their offices are also based, and their country home of Anmer Hall, in Norfolk.
The Queen moved to Windsor Castle indefinitely after the COVID outbreak in March last year. Windsor holds a special significance for the monarch too, as it is where Prince Philip, her husband of 73 years, has been buried and it’s where the royal couple previously spent every Easter together.
Not much more is known as to why the Cambridge Family could be making this move, but we’re certain they’ll remain in the Royal “good books!”
