There are fears that two major fires near the NSW-Victoria border could merge in the next 24 hours.
Hot and windy conditions across both states could cause the fires in Corryong and across the border into New South Wales to merge into one huge fire.
Residents living in and around Corryong have been urged to leave now.
A number of homes have already been lost in the area.
Over the next 24 hours, it is feared the strong winds could push the fire in Victoria to the North towards the Dnns Road fire in NSW.
A State Of Disaster has been issued in Victoria, which means police can forcibly remove residents on and can break the law to ensure nobody is in areas threatened by bushfires.
