The cases will be down on yesterdays figure of 723.

Overnight, Prime Minister Scott Morrison and State Premier Daniel Andrews held a meeting to discuss what the next best steps are for the state.

The Herald Sun is reporting that the option on the table was a New Zealand style lockdown, which would see all non-essential businesses closing, apart from supermarkets and chemists.
