A polar blast is set to lash Victoria…in November!
Chilly temps arrived on Thursday with a low of 9C in Melbourne, but it’s going to get even colder tomorrow as the mercury plummets to 7C and with a high of just 14C.
“This week a wintry weather pattern is developing across south eastern Australia,” Tom Saunders told news.com.au.
“We have a series of cold fronts moving through and that will bring polar air to the southeast that will peak on Friday and Saturday.
“Temperatures will drop below average. They’re already 5 degrees below average in southeast Australia and it will be even colder on Friday, as much as 10 degrees below average.”
It will remain pretty frosty across the weekend with temps of just 8C expected on Saturday morning.
SEVERE WEATHER WARNING for DAMAGING WINDS issued for East Gippsland and parts of Central, South West, North East and West and South Gippsland Forecast Districts.
