Victoria has recorded 12 new Coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours.
There have been 2 further lives lost – both are linked to aged care.
Over 13,000 tests were conducted yesterday, with Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews continuing to appeal to the public to present themselves to testing sites as soon as possible.
Melbourne’s 14-day rolling average is now 26.7. Regional Victoria’s now sits at 1.1.
There are 532 active cases across the state. 83 of those are healthcare workers and 274 are in aged care settings.
Andrews has confirmed again that there will be announcements on easing of restrictions in Metropolitan Melbourne this Sunday. However, he has mentioned that they will be “steady and safe steps”.
