Frankston Pier has fallen victim to the wild weather system that’s lashed Victoria over the past 12 hours.
Social media has blown up with photos and images of the end of the iconic pier snapping off and floating away.
It eventually returned back to shore where a news reporter though it’d be a good idea to jump onto it.
