Dozens of beachgoers have been spotted sunbathing at Melbourne’s St Kilda Beach.
This is against the government’s direct instruction to ‘stay home’.
The photos shown on Channel 9, show beachgoers enjoying the warm weather, ignoring all COVID-19 social distancing rules.
Premier Daniel Andrews has said he would not hesitate to close beaches if people continue to violate the regulations.

“No one should be going to the beach – if I have to take preventative action to stop people from going to the beach then I will,” he said.
“I really hope we don’t see again the sorts of scenes we saw in Bondi last weekend.
“This is putting lives at risk for people will die if Victorians act in this way.”
The state has 54 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the state’s total to 574.
