Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury has been isolated from his team-mates as he displayed flu-like symptoms.

The Magpies skipper has already missed two training sessions.

Collingwood has made no statement about his availability for Friday’s opener against Western Bulldogs.

It is unknown if Pendlebury has been tested for COVID-19.

If any player was to contract coronavirus it could result in the AFL season being suspended immediately.
