Dogs on the loose were wreaking havoc on the Pakenham line!
Metro Trains are reporting that two dogs were running along the train lines and people were attempting to catch the pups.
The situation could have been quite serious as a “train nearly hit the dogs and persons on the rail tracks” according to the Metro Trains Twitter.
The driver “made an emergency radio call to the Train Control Centre and to all trains in the area (the type of call requires all trains in the area to stop)” causing delays of up to 15 minutes.
