Regional commuters can prepare for more delays and cancellations as V/Line start ready to walk off the job.

Operational staff on the Albury, Seymour and Shepparton will clock off for 24 hours on February 13, staff on the Ballarat, Maryborough and Ararat will follow suit on February 18, and staff on the Traralgon and Bairnsdale lines will stop on February 19.

The staff who watch over how carriages and trains connect will also walk off the job for more than four hours on February 12, which will see delays and cancellations occur.

Commuters are already gearing up for disruptions to services on Friday 7 February where Bendigo, Echuca and Swan Hill trains will completely stop.

The battle continues between V/Line and Rail, Tram & Bus Union (RTBU), despite Public Transport Minister Melissa Horne offering a mediator. RTBU is also negotiating with Metro Trains and Yarra Trams over wages.
