A little known free service in Woolworths and Coles has been put back into the forefront of peoples minds as they become increasingly concerned about hygiene at public places.

With the potential of the Coronavirus spreading, supermarkets are continuing to help customers avoid harmful bacteria.

According to Yahoo! Australia, both supermarkets have had hygiene stations in store for ‘years now’.

A spokesperson for Woolworths said “Hygiene stations – which include hand sanitizers and anti-bacterial wipes for customers – are located in all our stores nationwide,” the spokesperson said.

Coles went on to confirm the same news and also said all their baskets are cleaned daily.
