A group of friends have taken the most costly drive of their lives after being pulled over by police.
A 21-year-old driver of a Range Rover was pulled over in Thomastown after it was detected it was speeding by over 70km/h.
When stopped, the group in the car said they were just ‘chilling.’
The p-plater also recorded 047 on a roadside breath test and was charged with multiple traffic offences.
The charges included dangerous driving, speeding, failure to display P-plates and exceeding the alcohol limit as well as a fine for $1652 for defying social distancing regulations.
The total amount of fines was over $6K!
The Range Rover was impounded.
