After fears they may need to spend a fortnight at home, shoppers across the country went berzerk and bought as much toilet paper as they could get their hands on. It got so crazy, major supermarkets like Coles, Woolworths and Aldi had to put restrictions on how much customers could purchase in one transaction.

Now, it turns out another dark horse has been selling out like hot cakes. It might cost a little more, but it might actually be quite responsible to consider!

Harvey Norman director Gerry Norman has revealed that white goods are flying out the doors, especially chest freezers!

“I’ll be damned. It’s a bit like the toilet paper story,” he said, “they are very common and always have been but when you get a rush on them you think, ‘that’s strange’.”

Depending on how much room you have at home, you can nab one at Harvey Norman from as little as $299.

There are reports that The Good Guys is also seeing stock fly out the door too.

It’s probably not a bad idea to store frozen goods and meats. You could even store some frozen pizzas!
