A tenant who has been struggling financially has praised her landlord after he gifted her bags of groceries while she was struggling due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The tenant, Christina Marie decided to share the touching story on Facebook…

“My landlord Alan called me earlier and told me not to worry about rent this month and we will worry about it later… I said okay!” she wrote.*

“Then he asked me if we had food. I told him how I had 3 packs of meat left and needed to go this week and he told me ‘okay be safe’.

“Then, I get a text saying ‘go to your front porch please’!!! And I see this.

“I couldn’t tell you how I feel right now… for him to do this for my family… my heart is so touched… GOD BLESS YOU.”


Alan had left multiple bags of groceries which included basics such as milk, bread, vegetables and nappies.

People were amazed by the generosity with her posted gathering 89,000 comments and 224,000 likes at the time of publishing.

“Wow, what an amazing landlord,” one Facebook user wrote, “Wish more were like him. God bless him for taking care of his tenant.”

There have been many stories of acts of kindness from landlords to tenants across the globe, from cutting rent to slipping gift cards into mailboxes. In times like these, it’s the little things that go a long way.
