Woolworths has withdrawn a batch of 2 litre and 3-litre milk from sale due to their ‘chemical’ taste.
The affected Woolworths branded milk cartons have a use-by date of January 4, 2021.
They were for sale in Victoria, the ACT and a small number of NSW stores.
Woolworths said “Last week we took the precautionary step of withdrawing a single batch of two and three-litre Woolworths branded Full Cream Fresh Milk from sale in Victoria and the ACT.’’
“This followed feedback on the taste of this particular batch from a small number of customers.
“The batch has been tested by our Victorian milk supplier, and it is absolutely safe for customers to consume the product.”
Any customers who are unhappy with the taste of the 2L and 3L Woolworths Full Cream Fresh Milk with the expiry date of 4 January 2021 can request a refund and replacement at their local store.
