Chocoholics, rejoice!

Much like Willy Wonka and his chocolate factory, chocoholics have lifted the lid on one of Melbourne’s sweetest chocolatiers with the best deals you could possibly imagine.

Nestled away in the outskirts of Melbourne sits the Cadbury factory – home to some of Australia’s most famous chocolates.

The invitation-only facility in Ringwood offers all your Cadbury favourites – including Cherry Ripe, Boost, Crunchie and Picnic – at a fraction of the price you’d normally pay.

How much, you ask? You’ll be able to score an unwrapped Cadbury bar for as little as 6.6 cents, and an easter egg for as low as 55 cents.

“Bought 150 unwrapped Picnic bars for just $10 from the Cadbury factory in Melbourne… that’s 7.5 cents each for you maths geeks,” an Instagram page posted.

Uh, a real mathematician would know that the figure actually calculates to 6.6 cents each, not 7.5! Bargain.

Another lucky chocoholic was able to grab a five kilogram box of unwrapped Crunchie bars for just $5.

Photos posted to social media by other visitors to the factory show the popular Humpty Dumpty and Red Tulip Easter eggs selling for just 55 cents each.

As they say – if it’s too good to be true, then it probably is. Unfortunately, that’s the case here.

According to visitors, the customer store isn’t open to the general public, and is only accessible to emergency service members and staff from non-profit community organisations.

In other words, you need to be invited.

The Ringwood facility confirmed the above, stating that emergency personnel and community organisations are currently the only people allowed to purchase the slightly damaged products.

We don’t know about you, but we think this is proof that Willy Wonka does exist!
