It’s time to get in touch with your green thumb people! The all new Woolworths collectables items launch TOMORROW and we could not be more excited for this one!

Woolworths Discovery Garden is a new venture launched by the supermarket giant to help Aussie families grow their own fresh vegetables, herbs and flowers.

The collectables come in the form of seedlings, ready for you to plant and nurture them so that they can grow into your own fresh food!

There’s 24 different varieties to collect including things like thyme, basil, coriander, kale, spinach, carrots, violas and pansies.

It all launches in store and online tomorrow September 11th and you can get one for every $30 that you spend at a Woolworths store.

PLUS as an extra bonus in this collectables range, if you spend $15 on fresh fruit and vegetables within a $30 shop, you’ll receiving a bonus seedling!

Woolworths Discovery Garden is an extension of Woolworth’s Fresh Food Kids program in a bid to get more fresh fruits and veggies into Australian diets and to give us all a better understanding about fresh food.

“As the fresh food people, Woolworths Discovery Garden is a natural next step for us to engage families and empower Aussies of all ages to understand how their food grows,” said Woolworths Fresh Food Kids Programs Manager, Sarah De La Mare.

“Learning about fresh food, where it comes from, how it grows, how long it takes to grow, whether it’s easy or challenging are all questions that will encourage meaningful discussions at home, at school and even at work.”

“After planning this program for the past year, we cannot wait for our customers gardens to flourish across Australia,” she added.

In order to have a place to keep all of your Discovery Garden collectables, customers can pick up a collector tray in store for $4!

There will also be a special Woolworths Discovery Garden website to help you grow your seedlings perfectly and to give you recipe ideas for when your fresh food has grown.

We can’t wait to get our gardening on!
