The first full trailer of the long awaited Queen and Freddie Mercury biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, has been released, and it looks AMAZING!

Starring Rami Malek as Mercury, fans have been waiting to get their first look at him in action after various pictures have been teased out over the past few months.

The film has been in the works since 2010, when it was announced that ‘Borat’ star Sacha Baron Cohen was going to play Freddie, but he left  the project in 2013 citing “creative differences” with Mercury’s former bandmates, with Queen guitarist Brian May later calling Baron Cohen “an arse”.

The official synopsis describes the film as follows:

“Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near-implosion as Mercury’s lifestyle spirals out of control, and their triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid, where Mercury, facing a life-threatening illness, leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music.”

Bohemian Rhapsody is due for release in Australia on November 1.
