A Florida woman who was allegedly being held hostage by her boyfriend used a Pizza Hut order to get help.
Mother of three and Pizza Hut regular Cheryl Treadway wrote a note on her online order saying “Please help. Get 911 to me.”
Workers sent police to the delivery location where they were greeted by Treadway and a small child.
She told them that her boyfriend, Ethan Nickerson, was armed with a knife and two other children were inside.
The manager of the Pizza Hut store told WFLA, “We’ve never seen that before. I’ve been here 28 years and never, never seen nothing like that come through.”
Nickerson was persuaded by police to leave the house peacefully and charged with aggravated assault with a weapon without intent to kill, battery, false imprisonment and obstructing justice.
