On Sunday, the world was treated to one of the finest gigs of all time, as artists came together to perform, remotely, at the One World: Together At Home Concert.

Streamed live on iHeartRadio, the gig, organised by Lady Gaga, saw acts just as Elton John, The Rolling Stones and Coldplay’s Chris Martin perform in a spectacular 8 hour event.

One of our favourites was The Rolling Stones performing a social distancing version of their 1969 classic “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”.

It was a powerful rendition of the song, with the lyrics taking on a whole new meaning given the recent crisis.

Mick, Keith, Ronnie and Charlie were all in their own homes during the performance and said in a statement, “We are honored to be invited to be part of the One World: Together at Home broadcast — from our homes in isolation. A fantastic event with Global Citizen in the fight against COVID -19.”
