Teacher, Ashley Silas, was caught dragging her 6-year-old student through the school corridors by his wrist. Now she faces assault charges.

Ashley Silas, from Kentucky, can been seen pulling the young child past other students, school staff and even parents as he slides limply on his knees.

She was immediately fired for the incident, which took place in October, however has regained her teaching post at the school earlier this month when she appealed.

The child’s father is now taking further action, and Silas is facing fourth-degree assault charges.

The father said, “If I had done something like that in a public setting I would not be here talking to you. I would be in jail.”

Silas claimed the child enjoyed sliding down the corridor and was actually having fun, an allegation the little boy denied.
