”Coffee in a cone” is the newest thing to hit the planet and is going crazy through South Africa.
Dayne Levinrad is the barista behind the amazing invention claims it is the world’s most Instagrammed coffee.
Nearly one million images using #CoffeeInACone have been liked on the social media site since it launched in January.
It may look like just a cone but there is actually a lot of work that goes into it.
Levinrad says that simply pouring a coffee into a wafer cone wouldn’t work because ‘the wafer is too thin” so they had to ”buy our own machine and start rolling our own wafer cones, using different flours. The chocolate still, though”.
To make sure there was no leakage, they had to coat the cones with FOUR types of chocolate that ended up hardening by using different amounts of cocoa content.
There is one slight issue with the cone, it will melt within ten minutes, so you have to drink it real quick!
Currently Coffee In A Cone is only available in South Africa.. but we imagine someone is working on it in Australia, right now!
