It’s proven to be a ratings success in Australia and now Channel Ten has revealed that The Masked Singer will be back by popular demand and returning to our screens for a second season.
And as Masterchef annoucnes a new line-up, it looks like things will stay the same at The Masked Singer.
Jackie O will be returning to the judging panel alongside Lindsay Lohan, Dave Hughes and Dannii Minogue.
Although the lineup remains the same, the decision has come as a surprise to some, after rumours circulated that Lindsay Lohan wouldn’t be returning as a judge for season two of the show.
However, Channel 10’s chief content officer cleared the rumours up, telling news.com.au that she would be returning to the hit show next year.
“Despite what you may have read, we will have exactly the same judging line-up and exactly the same host,” Beverley McGarvey said.
“We’re thrilled that they’re all coming back and you know how these things work, the more that people get familiar with each other and familiar with everything it just gets better and better because they get more comfortable. The potential upside for us next year is really exciting.”
The dynamic of the judges seems to be a winning formula for the network, with the popular show raking in 1.56 million viewers during the premiere. We can’t wait for more!
