The loved-up pair, who wed on January 5, kept their honeymoon low-key staying in a luxury cabin at the Shooting Star resort at Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Okay, it’s low-key compared to say, an overwater bungalow in The Maldives, but it’s definitely a more rustic option.
Now here’s the part about the chicken. According to Us Weekly, the couple dined at the Q Roadhouse and Brewing Co, sharing Southern fare including hush puppies (cornbread balls), fried chicken and jambalaya (a rice and meat pot dish). Feel the romance right there
“They were so nice and cute together and couldn’t have been more complimentary and polite and cool to all the staff,” a witness told People. “Everyone said how great they were.”
We guess that’s why they call it the “honeymoon glow”.
After their little getaway, Cameron, 42, and Benji, 35, flew back to LA and had brunch with Benji’s brother Joel Madden and his wife Nicole Richie and their two kids, Harlow, seven, and Sparrow, six, at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills.
It’s been a fast courtship for this happy Hollywood pair. They only hooked up in May 2014, got engaged in November and swiftly tied the knot less than two months later at The Other Woman actress’ estate in Beverly Hills. Their guest list included Drew Barrymore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Christina Applegate and Wiz Khalifa.
“We couldn’t be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends,” the pair told People in a statement.
We’re crossing our fingers Benji will bring Cam Down Under for his coaching role on The Voice in the coming months.
