Paul McCartney’s mysterious social media posts were teasing something and now we know what. The former Beatles star has announced plans to release a career-spanning solo compilation titled Pure McCartney on June 10 that will be available as a four-CD set, a four-LP vinyl package, and a two-CD collection.

Pure McCartney was curated by Sir Paul and features well-known songs and personal favorites from his various post-Beatles recordings, including his 1970s band Wings, his electronica project The Fireman, and his many solo albums.

“Me and my team came up with the idea of putting together a collection of my recordings with nothing else in mind other than having something fun to listen to,” McCartney explains about the compilation. “Maybe it’s to be enjoyed on a long car journey or an evening at home or at a party with friends? So we got our heads together and came up with these diverse playlists from various periods of my long and winding career.”

The Pure McCartney track lists span songs featured on Paul’s 1970 solo debut, McCartney, through to his 2014 tune “Hope for the Future” that he created for the video game Destiny. Among the many hits included are “Maybe I’m Amazed,” “Jet,” “Listen to What the Man Said,” “Silly Love Songs,” “Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey,” “Let ‘Em In,” “Ebony and Ivory,” “Band on the Run,” “My Love,” “Live and Let Die,” “Coming Up,” and “No More Lonely Nights,” as well as the 2015 remix version of McCartney’s duet with Michael Jackson, “Say Say Say.”

The four-CD version of Pure McCartney offers the most expansive look at Paul’s solo work, with 67 tracks, while the four-LP set features 41 songs and the two-CD collection includes 39 tunes.
