Point Lonsdale and Fairhaven beaches have closed today after a spate of shark sightings.
A great white shark was spotted swimming frighteningly close to the shore at Moggs Creek, Fairhaven Beach.

Fairhaven beach has reportedly been closed.
The news comes just after a shark sighting at Point Lonsdale back beach.
