Olivia Newton-John is planning to shed Sandy for good.
The Aussie singer sent pulses racing when she stepped out in her skin-tight black leather pants and off-the-shoulder top as Sandy with co-star John Travolta in the 1978 hit musical Grease.
But now Newton-John will be selling her infamous outfit for the greater good.
“I plan to auction my leather ensemble from Grease to raise money for my cancer centre,” she told US Weekly.
The Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre, at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne’s Heidelberg opened in July 2013.
The singer was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, the same weekend her father died from liver cancer.
Thankfully, following a partial mastectomy, she has been cancer-free for over 20 years.
Newton-John is currently in Las Vegas performing at the Flamingo Casino, having recently wrapped up her Two Strong Hearts tour with fellow Aussie heavyweight John Farnham.
