A little birdie told us our main man Mickey Mouse, is turning 90. So, what better way to celebrate than to hold an exhibition dedicated to the iconic mouse?

A free Mickey-inspired art exhibition has dropped into Melbourne, taking over the floors, walls and staircases behind the Shot Tower at Melbourne Central.

Featuring the work of 90 local and international artists, each piece has reimagined Mickey to create a completely original artwork that will have you taking multiple selfies.

“This is the largest artist collaboration in Disney’s history” says curator Eddie Zammit. “It was refreshing to push the boundaries with Disney. I’ve chosen creative people who love Disneyland, Mickey and, of course, Minnie.”

Is that not enough Mickey? Well, in fairness, there’s never enough Mickey, but there will be a range of Mickey-inspired merch from the Arthouse store, which will be open from 1 December.

Head down to the Shot Tower at Melbourne Central (Cnr LaTrobe and Swanston Streets) for the ultimate Mickey experience. The Mickey Mouse Arthouse will be open until 28th January 2019. Entry is free!
