Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones along with Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason have recorded a charity single for the survivors of the devastating earthquake in Nepal.  The song, titled “Save the Children (Look into Your Heart),”  can be purchased now as a digital download at iTunes.

On lead vocals for the project is U.K. soul singer Beverly Knight, as well as accompaniment from a 100-voice choir made up of supporters of the Save the Children humanitarian organization. Jagger is on  backing vocals and Wood plays guitar on the track, which was produced by Mason and recorded at London’s famous Abbey Road Studios.

Proceeds raised by the song will benefit Save the Children’s Nepal Earthquake initiative.

“I am delighted that this recording made by us for Save the Children will help with the Nepal Appeal,” Wood says in a statement.

According to BBC News, the death toll from the earthquake, which took place April 25, has exceeded 7,500, while more than 14,500 people also have been injured.
