Stars of Married At First Sight are trying to extend their fifteen minutes of fame by using their ‘influence’ in return for free holidays.
According to The Daily Telegraph, 2019 MAFS bride Tamara Joy has been caught trying to leverage her growing social media following for free travel.
An alleged leaked email shows her talent agent requesting free holidays in exchange for publicity. They promise that Tamara and MAFS New Zealand groom Samuel Levi “can offer so much together”.
The email – riddled with grammatical errors – starts by saying “I would like to be in touch on behalf of TV Personality’s Samuel Levi & Tamara Joy.”
“Would love to know your thoughts, on getting the pair in to experience a trip together as the pair would love to visit and experience this part of Australia, and do it together,” the published text read.
It goes on to mention the pair’s “large and wide” social media following of more than 250,000 followers, despite Tamara having 171,000 on Instagram and Levi having 54,000. The talent management explains that the duo would hit the perfect demographic for the travel company and “spread awareness”.
Tamara – who is currently in Bali – says her trips are fully funded by her and that she is not part of any agreement. However, he past posts have tagged a cosmetics company, bikini brand and hair extensions company.
