2016 has been hailed as possibly the worst year ever.
It almost feels as though every terrorist attack, natural disaster, shooting and catastrophe that could happen, did.
From the huge refugee crisis, the mass bloodbaths of Syria and Iraq, famine in northern Nigeria, Zika, Brexit and then Trump – this really has been one horrible turn around the calendar.
Not to mention there was also a celebrity death epidemic of sorts, with the world losing legendary icons Prince, David Bowie, Muhammad Ali, Leonard Cohen, among many others.
The cynical saying ‘love is dead’ was also proven in 2016, with Hollywood losing its most iconic power couple EVER – Brangelina – and so many more of our favourite celebrity couples, like Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson; and Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts, called it quits.
One word: Harambe.
*Sigh*
But singer James Blunt has attempted to make light of the horridness of 2016.
While many are hoping 2017 is much better, the ‘Goodbye My Lover’ singer attempted to crush all hope, and dropped the bombshell that next year could be much, much worse – all thanks to him.
