It’s not just you.

Melbourne shivered through its coldest day since 1985 on Sunday with the temperatures only reaching 9.6 degrees.

Not since July 1985 has the max been so low.

It wasn’t helped by a thick fog that blanketed much of the city in the morning, preventing any sunlight getting through.

And the frosty weather has continued today with another icy morning.

Temperatures in the CBD hit 3 degrees at 8am today, and while they’ll warm up to 13 in the afternoon, they’ll fall back to around 4 tonight.
