One of Melbourne’s most iconic Greek restaurants is set to expand as they look to take on two of George Colambaris’ now closed Jimmy Grants locations.

The Age is reporting that Stalactites, a 24 hour restaurant in the CBD, will take on the Jimmy Grants locations in the Emporium and Fitzroy.

Both locations are expected to trade under their offshore brand Hella Good.

All of Colombaris’ restaurants were closed last week after a wage payment scandal left them with lower than usual foot traffic. 5 locations have now been purchased by multiple buyers.
