We’ve all done it – chugging down alcoholic drinks every weekend without a thought about what the nutritional content actually is.

But things may be about to change, as one massive alcohol manufacturer has announced plans to add nutritional labels to its spirits.

Diaego, which brings you the goods including Smirnoff, Johnnie Walker, Bailey’s and Guinness, will voluntarily provide nutritional facts on each of its products, including calories, carbs, proteins and fat.

It could still be a while before we see these labels on every Diaego product, since the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) needs to approve every label, but be assured that the change is coming.

And until then, you can assess the damage here.
