Good news for fans of the TV show ‘The Nanny’!
Star of the series, Fran Drescher, has just announced that she’s making a comeback as her iconic character Fran Fine, in a reunion of the show.
The rest of the original cast will also take part in the reboot of sorts, where they will recreate the pilot episode.
The reunion episode is going to be one for the history books too, with Fran announcing that it will all be filmed in a quarantine-friendly way amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“NANNY FANS ALERT! It’s happening!!!!” she wrote on Instagram. “MONDAY 4/6 the original cast of The Nanny together AGAIN in a virtual read of the pilot episode!!! Link and time soon!”
She added the hashtags “#PandemicPerformance #TheNanny”
