Well… this is awkward.

Behind the Curve, a new Netflix doco follows a group of real life Flat Earthers as they set out to prove their belief.

They are a “small but growing contingent of people who firmly believe in a conspiracy to suppress the truth that the Earth is flat.”

Bob Knodel, who has a YouTube Channel dedicated to the theory, is part of the team who plan to use a $20,000 laser gyroscope in order to prove that the Earth doesn’t really rotate.

In breaking news, it turns out the Earth might actually be rotating, as the laser gyroscope found…

“What we found is, when we turned on that gyroscope, we found that we were picking up a drift,” Bob said. “A 15-degree per hour drift.”

“Now, obviously we were taken aback by that – ‘Wow, that’s kind of a problem.’ “

“We obviously were not willing to accept that, and so we started looking for easy to disprove it was actually registering the motion of the Earth.”

Well. That is very peculiar…

This all just seems like something you need to see to believe…
