The two top music identification apps — Shazam and Soundhound — have released lists of the most tagged moments of last night’s broadcast, and the performance featuring Jeff Lynne’s ELO with young British singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran tops both tallies.

The #1 most Shazamed moment of the evening was Lynne and his band teaming up with Sheeran on a rendition of the ELO classic “Mr. Blue Sky.”

Meanwhile, rising alternative rock artist Hozier appears twice in the list of top 10 most-Shazamed Grammy performances, with his rendition of his hit “Take Me to Church” landing at #4 and his duet with Eurythmics singer Annie Lennox on Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ blues/rock classic “I Put a Spell on You” winding up at #6.  Other rock artists who made it onto the list include No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani, whose duet with Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, “My Heart Is Open,” was #5; Paul McCartney, whose collaboration with Rihanna and Kanye West, “FourFiveSeconds,” was #7; and AC/DC, whose opening performance of “Highway to Hell” was in the 10th spot.

Taking a look at the list of top “click to buy” tracks performed on the Grammys, “Take Me to Church” was #2, Maroon 5 and Stefani’s “My Heart Is Open” was #3, “FourFiveSeconds” was #4, Lennox’s version of “I Put a Spell on You” was #5, the McCartney and West collaboration “Only One” was #8 and ELO’s “Mr. Blue Sky” was #9.

Over at the Soundhound app, the most Soundhounded performance also was Lynne and ELO’s rendition of “Mr. Blue Sky” with Sheeran.  Meanwhile, Lennox was deemed the “Most Engaged” artist of the night, based on the number of users who used the Soundhound app during her performance.  Lennox also was #2 on the list of Soundhound’s “Top Engaged Artists” during the Grammys, which takes into account the amount of activity focused on an artist across various categories.  Lynne was ranked #3 on this list; Sheeren was #1.

Lastly, “Take Me to Church” was #1 on the list of Soundhound’s “Top Engaged Songs,” with “FourFiveSeconds” at #4 and “I Put on Spell on You” at #5.
