It’s been thirty years since the now legendary ‘Australian Made’ tour wound it’s way around the country playing to huge audiences eager to catch the biggest names in home grown talent.

Headlined by INXS and Jimmy Barnes, the bill also featured Divinyls, The Models, The Saints, Mental As Anything, The Triffids and I’m Talking, the tour took in all the major cities playing to a total of over 140,000 people.

The tour kicked off on December 26 1986 in Hobart then continued on to Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane before winding up in Sydney on January 24, 1987.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of this ground breaking tour, the film features onstage performances as well as candid behind the scenes footage including the late Michael Hutchence and Chrissy Amphlett, has been digitally restored.


The film will screen for one night only at various Event Cinemas and Village Cinemas on Friday, 25 November, before being available to buy or download.

We can’t wait to watch these legendary artists in their prime on the big screen!
