The news of Bruce Jenner’s gender transition has been one of the most talked about celebrity events this year.

The Kardashians’ former stepfather has spoken to Diane Sawyer about the changes in an hour-long interview special, and a special episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians is scheduled to air later this month exploring the family’s reactions.

Now, Bruce has even more to look forward to, with a docuseries announced – and a hefty pay day to match.

Radar Online reports that Bruce will pocket $5 million for the first season of the series, with an option for more if it becomes a hit.

And to add insult to injury for ex-wife Kris, she won’t be getting a cent of it, as Bruce reportedly didn’t want her to remain in a management position.

“The show is going into unchartered waters, and E! has been working with GLAAD to make sure it’s done with integrity,” a source said.

“There is a lot riding on this series for Bruce, and the network. If it’s a hit, there will be a huge financial windfall for Bruce.”
