With consistent pressure on supermarkets amid the coronavirus pandemic, Aldi has adjusted their opening hours again to ensure they have enough time to clean the store, stock the shelves and allow their staff to take breaks.

From Monday April 6, all stores will now be open from 8:30AM-7:00PM each day unless other state and local trading restrictions apply. It will provide customers with “greater access to groceries.”

The new system must be working as the stores are now able to open an hour earlier than they were just two weeks ago.

On top of this announcement, Aldi has confirmed it will also give its staff a break over the Easter long weekend, shutting its doors on Good Friday (April 10) and Easter Sunday (April 12) to give staff a “well-deserved break”.

“Our employees, Australian business partners and transport operators have been working incredibly hard to deliver more products than ever into stores each day,” Aldi said.
