AC/DC are due to play the Wembley Stadium on July 4 in support of new album ‘Rock or Bust’.

Tickets for their UK tour – which also includes a date at Glasgow’s Hampden Park – went on sale today.

It has been confirmed that Wembley’s 72,500 tickets were snapped up in just 60 minutes.

The tour will see AC/DC perform with founding member Malcolm Young, who left the band earlier this year due to dementia. He has been replaced on guitar by nephew Stevie Young.

The group meanwhile released the album ‘Rock or Bust’ in December.
